Echa's Version of Love Story

One fine day I was only a fresh graduate, ready to enter college world with no one I knew. I was only a girl from Bali who moved back to her hometown in Bandung. Little did I know, an intention to study law in my little hometown has brought me to the destiny to meet the love of my life.

Meeting and getting to know Dino was something I've never planned before. I was the one who texted him first lol, intentionally inviting him to join an English Debate Competition. After days of confusion, he finally said yes and we went to Yogyakarta to compete as a teammate. From our first core memory in Yogyakarta, we continued to notch memories, involving many places and shared emotions. From Yogyakarta to Solo. From Solo to Malang. From Malang to Karawang. From Karawang to Bali. From Bali to Singapore. From Singapore to Hongkong. From Hongkong to Europe. From Europe to London. Who knows that in every place, emotions, and memories we passed by together, our love and respect also grow? 

People may see Dino as a cool-hearted person. I could not agree more lol. He is so dark, but deep inside he is the warmest person I’ve ever known. We've been building our relationship in our way, might not be sweet as appeared in my favourite K-Drama, but the way we keep being ourselves and slowly committing each other to be the better version of ourselves have been successfully keeping our story tight; our respects to each other increase; and our loves grow. Dino always shows himself as he is. Sometimes we are indeed mirroring, but he always completes me for who he is. Whenever he is around, I no longer feel lost; I feel saved from darkness; I feel completely loved and respected. 

Long before we agreed each other to tie the knot, I already knew that he is always the one. We will keep respecting, loving, and notching another core memories in our little home.

Dino's Version of Love Story

Once upon a time in 2014, I went to law school just doing my tedious daily activity - studying law, I didn’t event take a bath that day lol. During that fatiguing day, someone texted me claiming her name was Echa, asking me courteously that would I be her teammate on a debate competition. I was confused since I had sworn to myself not to engage in any strenuous activities, I just wanted to finish my degree quickly and play dota on daily basis.

The gravity of doing extracurricular and I believe its due to my astrology – Capricorn lol, I finally said yes and started to join the practices for the competition and of course we started to get to know each other. For clarity, among those days, I told Echa very specific “hey, don’t take this personal, we’re just teammates, right?”, and she agreed with her neverending laughter. 

I am telling you fellas, Jaz was deceitful this whole time. He sings: “Dari mata, kau buatku jatuh, jatuh terus, jatuh ke hati”; well, dude, I just saw her eyes days later. What I am trying to say is that, as time went by, the electric sparked, the nerves were connecting, our brain cells had already been whispering that something was happening. Among many people, she can translate the entire abstract ideas I have, write them down, and weaponize them on devastating our competitors, and that is super sexy.

It did not stop right there, beside the fact that she is intelligent, though sometimes people misunderstood her good intention, her empathy and compassion are always real. She is strong and independent more than you guys can expect. She even tolerated my diarrhea on our ‘first date’. I mean, which girl can do that? 

Due to our compatibility, we had been joining countless events and made core memories from numerous places, until one scorching day on 8 May 2016, we were finally in default by our own promises we made to not involve feeling in this series of law-life. We did not sue each other, we bound to a relationship instead. By the time you read this, it is for sure been 8 years, and sorry to say I cannot tell any details since it’s too long and the vendor forbid me to lol.
